Restorations Coffeehouse serves as the main facility for the Baptist Collegiate Ministry of Greater Nashville. We serve students of Tennessee State university, Fisk University, Vanderbilt, Belmont and the surrounding area by providing an atmosphere which breeds inspirational living and positive conversation. 

Serving freshly brewed coffee, tea, and hot chocolate daily along with delightful deserts.

Our facilities host new comfortable sitting area, cable TV, Internet Radio (Inspo Music 24/7), small computer center, wireless access, special events (poetry, music writer nights, listening parties, interviews, etc.) 

Inspirational Coffee House Opens Near TSU

The Baptist Collegiate Ministry opened a Christian coffeehouse across from Boyd Hall at 1104 33rd Ave. on Oct. 19 giving students a place to unwind during midterms.

JoAnn Scaife, the director, ministry specialist and campus minister of the ministry, concocted the idea of opening the coffeehouse as a way to impact the college campus by spreading the gospel.

The hours of operation will be 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. initially, and, will eventually, stay open 24 hours a day. The money made from the coffeehouse is to go directly back into the ministry and to the students.

"We want to find ways to build the ministry and reach students by meeting them in everyday college life," Scaife said.

The house will also be the home of an Internet radio station. B-Releasedradio.com, Scaife's own multimedia company, will move to the coffeehouse for the benefit of the students.

Broadcasting directly from the coffeehouse with live radio shows such as Music Entrepreneur, the Art of Being Single, Praise Party, What's Up With You? and Grits, Scaife is also interested in broadcasting some student and syndicated programming.....
