Restorations is a magazine that embodies the stories of real life people beginning with the everyday college student. We give you stories of people who have truly overcome some hard situations and lived to share the experience. The magazine embraces the conversations of others that show up in a small coffee house on 1104 33rd Avenue in Nashville, TN. A place that started with a story itself. This place is the original home of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries of Greater Nashville where ministries is 24/7 to everyday people, but because of the uniqueness of the people and their love and passion for surviving life, we wanted to share the stories from young to old. We turned this old house into a thriving small inspirational coffee house where conversations are plentiful on a daily basis and from this type of setting we knew we had to share the dialouge. So, then was born, Restorations Magazine, a.k.a. RM or more like restorations journal.

Simple Conversation In A Simple Setting

 Students from Universities in Nashville, TN take pride in a small house located on the heart of the campuses of Tennessee State University. Why? Because for most students its like being at home.

The birth of Restorations Inspirational Coffee House was October 12, 2007, a simple place where students in gather to talk about everyday life over a cup of coffee. 

 The Baptist Collegiate Ministries of Greater Nashville for Tennessee Baptist Convention recently hired a new Director/Campus Ministry Specialist by the name of JoAnn Scaife who truly is setting the stage for creative ministry and seeking the reach as many people as she can for Christ. Scaife launched a housing an initiative to change and recreate the face of the BCM called, "Project Restorations". An initiative solely focused on enhancing the ministry through remodeling of the BCM House, revamping the ministry programming, and adding some new opportunities that not only help the student, but the community, partners, and sponsors that support this ministry. The BCM house is now in its second phase of being remodeled from inside out by local ministries such as churches, men's group, businesses donating their time, money, and other resources to build this effort. .......more
